Personally I would go with a Lamptron FC5v2 or FC6 if I were to get a proper fan controller.

I'm wondering, can it play 1080p movies? Then I wouldn't have to pay $100 for an Ouya :P

I don't know what file systems it supports, but assuming it does, it does have USB outlets.

Regarding the fan controllers folks are talking about here... what's the big advantage to them, simply the ability to use more fans than your mobo has connectors for?

    Probably, just don't expect 1080p content. ;p

I don't even know if one could expect 720p.

Old quality DVD? Probably..... course I might be totally wrong.

The GPU is capable of BluRay quality playback, using H.264 at 40MBits/s.

My TV is only 720p, but scales to 1080p. The video in the shot is 1080p and it runs fine.

1TB external HDD mirrored so I can upload movies to it from my main rig and then play them on the Raspberry.

They are talking about porting Android 4.0 to it. Netflix should be no issues.

I have the Scythe Kaze Master controller, it's lasted longer then the NZXT LCD panel one did, or the Silverstone one I had prior to getting the Scythe. Also, fan controllers that beep even if you turn the sound off suck.
