Hmm it will just run at x16 because you only used 1 card

The slot he is using right now is only wired for x8. Doesn't matter if it is the only card he is using.

And there's no issue running XFire on that board. First lane is a PCI-E 3.0 x16 (so more than enough for any GPU) and the one his GPU is plugged into is PCI-E 2.0 x8, which will maybe bottleneck his current GPU by about 5%.

Why he is running it down there... I haven't a clue.
My bad blindly accepted it as the Ga Z77 D3H since they listed it as such when in fact it is the Ga Z77X D3H. Assuming it was the lesser model that would have been a bottleneck though.

I wanna know who it was that thought using a green PCB on that RAM was a good idea.

It's a bug-bear for me, as well. But still, not much to be done about it unless I go nuts with stuff, which I doubt he'd let me do for such minor gain.

Barely noticeable. Annoying, yes, but when the build is finished and all, really, no one will notice. :P

    Anyways! Red+Green = Christmas!

DIMM in slot 3 isn't seated properly, or that slot is just weird.

    You're welcome!

Moved the video card to the top slot, still can't believe I let that one past me.

Buuut, I did overclock it as I wanted too, 4.3ghz. Not amazing, but I'm pretty excited, as it was my first attempt at ever overclocking. xD

I decided to move my bottom rad below the fans, since I felt that would probably be better off. However, there's a bit of a snag I've got to fix... Undecided on how, as I'd really like to avoid cutting into the case with tools. That would mean nasty bare metal, even if it's in a barely-if-ever seen spot...

Oh, the problem? Yeah, looks like this.

That said, I disassembled and reassembled my GTX 680s. They were a bit overdue an inspection after a spillage accident, so I checked that they looked fine and all. They were, far as I could tell.

Finally, here's a lil' shot of the left side of the HAF XB. Well, the components seen through that when the panel is off, anyway.
