CPU :- AMD 6350 @4ghz (no oc yet)
    8gig Generic DDR3
    XFX Radeon 6950 2gig
Corsair H50 in Push Pull configuration.

Haf 935 Stacker Build, Need to upgrade a few things to be able to tidy the inside up even more, Modular PSU Another 915r (Top part) for the base and a Blu Ray drive. Once I have these then Ill be looking at a custom water loop
The case though, even with my none modular PSU is an absolute dream to work with, Well worth the £130 I paid for it.

at the moment there is the wiring for the fans and the zalman speed controller. Eventually though it will be used to house the hard drives, with the bottom unit to evenually hold the WC Radiators and pump.

Alright, decided to wait until I get some white Bitfenix Alchemy cable extensions in my case before I try any real cable management and inevitably take pictures and upload them.

ew don't do that, i quite using cable extensions all together after i had a few fail, they are just not very high quality, either use the supplied cables or order a braiding kit

Aw come on. WHY CAN'T I BUY MY OWN THINGS?!

Also, there don't seem to be that many bad reports so who knows... You do kind of stress your rig more than the average gamer, who these are aimed at, to be fair, I think. :P

I had the BitFenix Alchemy cables back when I had my Define R4, threw them out after 2 months

My 6 1/2 year old Dell Inspiron 1520.

Swapped the CPU from Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz 4MB cache to 2.5 Ghz 6MB.

    RAM is 4GB @ 677MHz

    Crucial MX100 512GB SSD

    GeForce 8600M GT

CAT7 Eithernet cable from the modem and overall good cable management to avoid interference between cables.

I took off the keyboard and placed some heatsinks on the metallic plate touching CPU and GPU heatsinks underneath, all the way to the exhaust. Placed some weights on the heatsinks to make better contact, but didn't bother with paste/tape. The first heatsink is from an Athlon X2 3600+, the one in the middle is from an XBone 360 and the last one as well. Monitor is there for no real reason usually I take it out as well.

It runs WoW at 1920x1080 at lowest settings at around 40 FPS, BF BC2 at around 30FPS at minimum settings and resolution, SC2/D3 at lowest settings at 40-50 FPS and lowest resolution as well.

It's a toaster, but it's my toaster, and it's lasted me this long so it has a special place in my heart. Also, a 180MM Cooler Master cooling pad underneath and that huge white fan for extra hot days.

    Oh dear.

That's beautiful, but at the same time...

Mad respect, I love those kinds of builds.

    Thank you

I'm obsessive compulsive about computers. I can't look at a computer that could be improved in any way at all and not improve it.

Even for this laptop I was planning to get one of those chips that lets you connect an external power supply and video card together through the Express Port of the laptop, but I figured the whole thing would cost me around 400$ and for that price I can buy a whole new computer.

It doesn't change the fact that I still want to do it, just because it's possible.

One of my HDDs kept disconnecting even though I tried to reseat it, one of the fan extension cables weren't giving out enough voltage when being used.

They should stick to cases and cheap headsets imo.

This is why corsair modular PSU's are the only real choice. :> Couldn't even think of using anything else since it's the only unit that has fully replaceable braided cable kits. I mean the cables aren't perfect but come damn close to unless you wanna braid yourself.

Love sitting at this desk! Picked up a new headset a while ago, the steelseries V2 special edition ones. Swapped from sennheiser to mix it up as I loved the first version back in highschool. Pretty rad thus far!

I don't have pictures yet. I'll take them tomorrow but specs

    CPU: Intel I7-4790k @ 4ghz
    Mobo: Asus Z97-AR
Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gigs @ 2133 (Overkill I know)
PSU: Corsair RM 850 (Overkill I know)
    GPU: Evga 780
    SSD: Kingston HyperX 240gig
HDD: WD Black 500gig, WD Green 1TB and WD 500gig
    Cooler: Corsair H110
    Case: Corsair 750D

Bit of a Corsair theme going. Full size tower was a bit much I admit. And 2 of the hard drives were from my older computers. I know this setup is waaaaay overkill for gaming and photo editing but damn it I have used prebuilt sub-par machines my whole life and I had the money.

If you must insist on using a non-sanctioned sitting apparatus, please consider the tensile strength
of the materials present in the object in question in comparison to your own mass volumetric density.

In other words, stop breaking shit with your fat ass.
