I dunnnoooo....The H100i in a pull only config (with the fans on top of the radiator blowing towards the top) was the biggest pain in the ass I've ever had to deal with as far as CPU coolers go. Tried to have the patience to do it for a friends H100 tonight since he sucks at maintaining his PC anyways so it would help, but I just couldn't bring myself to deal with the trouble.

It's a good configuration for easy cleaning but damn is it annoying to set up.

Just thought I'd mention that I decided to try and re-mount the PSU unit fan down, and succeeded. My OCD got the best of me. It was bugging me so bad not being able to take advantage of those bottom filters, and not having to worry about gravity dropping something into the unit.

I just ordered some new hardware and will be rebuilding my rig soon. Still waiting for email confirmation from NCIX for an in store pickup. I bought an i5 4690K, Asus Sabertooth MK2 Z97 board and a Cooler Master HAF XB. I am going to drop a Xigmatek Dark Knight cooler on my processor, not a huge fan of my Noctua NH-C12P cooler.

So after christmas and the addition of some new parts I thought I'd upload a few photos (albeit very poor quality, for which I apologise. Unfortunately my dads DSLR isn't around to play with.)

Specs are in my sig anyway. Recent additions are the X61, 250GB 840 Evo and an EVGA 750W G2 with EVGAs red sleeved cable kit. Oh yeah, and the H440 too!

EDIT: The pictures actually look worse than I thought! Oh well, I'm too lazy to retake them but at least they show it off somewhat...

The Hyper 212 Evo is at least an improvement over the 212 Plus. MY GOD that one was a bitch.

I didn't find the 212 Evo THAT bad to install :P The X61 was much easier though.

Try the Plus, it's definitely a bigger pain.

    Oh wait, they discontinued it.

    Wonder why.

Hah yeah managed to avoid the Plus. After switching from the Evo to the X61 over the last few days I've come to realise how loud the stock Evo fan was. Not really sure why I didn't buy a quieter fan over the two years I was using it...

I keep it at the lowest possible setting and, Fractal Design Define R4 aside, I don't think I'd hear it if it weren't in there because I'm in the basement...

Our furnace, sump pump, etc are MUCH louder than any cutesy little fan that is at least trying to be quiet. :P

You should hear my DVD drive when it revs up. Gonna replace that thing since I have a $40 Newegg card to use.

Gah, I don't think I could use blank keycaps. While i'm fine typing 99% of the time, once in a while my brain dies and I have to pause and look at what i'm doing and I would just me lost with one of those
If you must insist on using a non-sanctioned sitting apparatus, please consider the tensile strength
of the materials present in the object in question in comparison to your own mass volumetric density.

In other words, stop breaking shit with your fat ass.

I might be mistaken but it doesn't appear the keycaps are now blank, they have the key character cut out so that light can pass through the shape.

    Or so I assume *shrug*

Doesn't look like it but it's hard to tell, it's to blurry so i'll just say it's cyanotical's fault.

And one of these days i'll get around to tidying up my case :\
