I think I've heard of that somewhere.... however I honestly wouldn't suggest it, because in the unfortunate situation where you/someone/some animal accidentally hits it somehow and knocks it all over your computer.... x_x

It does make an annoying beep when you touch any of the buttons, not because there is an error but just to basically say "your order is my command." :P I want one of the ones with the dials/knobs that you turn and has the LED circles around them. Those are nice and slick.[COLOR="red"]

Oh I forgot to mention about the cables on the floor.... yeah. It could be better, but those are a lot of charging things that I need fairly constantly since my camera is old, my iPod is old (though that's charging behind my drumset), and I have a coffee heater plugged in. ;p
(I agree about the tray, I hate them with a passion! But I remember you being jealous of people with bigger desks, thus my suggestion! The previous version of G15 was even bigger by the way!).
I'd like some suggestions about a fan controller!
(my own desk used to be even worse cable-wise. I was made to buy velcro tapes and do some cable management right after getting a better pc!)

PS: posting right now is a nightmare.

    Show-off your drum set much??

Jks it's beautiful <3 my "instrument setup pic" would only involve my Ibanez + nuX amp : /

In other news, Sennheiser HD558's currently going through the burn-in, I'm playing all kinds music on them 24/7. At around the 80-100 hour mark they'll have burned in nicely and good to go!

Also in other news, the whole Mists of Pandaria and Blizzcon crap has slowed the SHIT out of this site. Please please please don't go offline Curse network :S

    Awesome to hear that Xuvial!
And I can't avoid showing the drumset off.... where my computer has been a work in progress for a mere 6 or 7 months.... the drumset began all the way back in the summer of 2003 and has only upgraded since... ;P They are both my babies! <3

How loud are you playing the music on the headphones, anyways?

PS... Doing anything on mmo-champ at all right now, God forbid posting, is a nightmare....

Just medium volume, what I'm comfortable with. It took a while to establish the "medium" because I've got so many songs and some are way too quiet and some way too loud.

Who was running that dual-Xeon watercooled setup again?

May be interested in EVGA's new SR3's with the new Xeon chips coming out and all :P

The RAM slot positioning is nuts, seriously watercooling or GTFO.

how the eff do people keep their cabes so tidyt around the desk? ive got a tv 2 monitors my pc and xbox on my desk, with only 1 plug socket, so i got 2 extension cables (16 slots) under my desk and cables going everywhere. going from desk to floor has power cable for pc, power cable for xbox, tv power cable, 2 monitors power cables, a lamp cable and desk fan cable, as well as 2 ethernet cables, its such a mess and i got no idea how to tidy.

may post some pics tomorow, maybe someone on here has a good idea on how to clear them up.

Cables that come from things that are close to each other (e.g. two monitors) should be tied together to stop them running all over the place. Once you've bunched everything that is bunch-able, it's simply a matter of either HIDING it behind something (e.t. a big metal sheet behind my desk) or...bunching up the bunches. Post a pic so we can atleast get an idea of your mess :P

What would be the advantage of an 80gb RAMdisk over e.g. a Crucial M4 setup in Raid0?

currently ram disks can exceed 8gB/s throughput, far exceeding the 550mB/s throughput of the best ssd's, now up that to quad channel ddr-1333 memory, you would need a lot of ssd's and full pcie-x16 raid card to match it
