Finally got my third monitor arriving soon, Aria had a sale on today where you could 'request' items a week or so ago, dropped my monitor by 10% for me! I can't actually use it yet because I'm too stubborn to buy a set of the new Radeons without knowing what the Kepler cards are like so it will just be sat there blank for a while :P

So I just ran Unigine Heaven 2.5 on my 1080p monitor, didn't do the benchmark test but just had it roll, extreme tessellation and 4x AA... while the fps was painful to watch, I was kind of surprised the GPU never went over 51 Celsius!

Maybe it's because it's about 7F (-13.9 C) outside and I'm in a not so well heated/insulated basement. Though computer is idling at normal temperatures.

Next purchase: Seagate Momentus XT 750GB for my games
    Second purchase: Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2-B3 motherboard
    Third purchase: Gigabyte Radeon HD7970

Should be spring time here by the time I have all three items.

So just in time to add a 3570K to that shopping list?

Finally got around to taking pics, so I thought I'd make a new post:

Ignore the dust, I cleaned the filters right after I took the pic.

Inside the case. I'm extremely happy with how organized I was able to get everything using fan power splitters and cable extension(s).

    Close up on the motherboard.

Looks nice, but you should turn your PSU around; as it is, it "steals" air from your bottom GPU.

Well, he does have a side panel fan right there, so it is giving extra air to both - and I'm sure the GPUs fans pull in more air than the PSU one, however I could be wrong.

I have (had) a similar configuration: The PSU turned with the fan taking air from the inside and a 200mm intake fan in the side-panel. When I turned my PSU around I noticed a 5-6c difference.

Yeah, I plan on flipping my PSU; in fact, I asked which way it should be facing in this thread a couple days ago. I'm just gonna wait until those extensions and power splitters come in, since I'll have everything unplugged then anyway, should be here sometime early next week (my temps are fine in the meantime, so I'm not too worried).

    Thanks for the compliments. =)

Inside the case, disregard the clutter, I've ordered some power cord extensions and fan power splitters to clean that up.

Oh my god, so clean... Wish you'd see my setup, dust everywhere, dirt, all random crap that I don't need =.=

Damn! Which kind of PSU do you have again? I don't worry too much with mine since half the time I'm not drawing enough power for it really to warrant having the PSU fan on. (Love PSUs with fans that only turn on when needed!)

I'm literally drooling over the case :> Mine was supposed to arrive this week but the basterds at the shop screwed up the order so I'll have to wait for the next week. It's awesome looking build with the dual twin frozr's and all. Maybe you could duck those cables behind the motherboard tray for some extra cleaness ;> I'm nitpicking though, looks great!

The Antec "High Current Gamer" 750W PSU. I have about twice the amount of space between my PSU and GPU as well (non-SLI). Turning the PSU also made the cable-mess a lot tidier and allowed for the front fans to push in more air. Here is an old picture of my system (pre-cleaning in Aug I believe): http://i.imgur.com/asiQL.jpg

Only reason I went with that PSU was because I was aiming at going some sort of custom loop and SLI. Plans changed though.

Oh I hate how they tend to stick where the cables come out on the side. Put it in the middle! >_<

But then it'd be half-messy no matter which way you turned the PSU

Anyways, while my computer hardware hasn't changed, my gaming station setup has:

Got a new desk, an APC UPS (you can barely see it on the bottom to the right of the tower), built a rolling platform for the computer case to sit on so I don't have to drag all ~60lbs of it out when I need to open it up, wall mounted my monitor, and got a Logitech racing wheel for playing Dirt 3 and F1 2010 (the wheel is off to the side)

This is what I have for now, I am not entirely pleased with the pinkish hue it has gotten, but I will take it down and get some better clear tubing at a later date. Hope you enjoy my beauty.

The CPU Loop: The pump/res/rad combo is mounted of the back and the hosing is inserted through one of the 80mm fanholes, it goes back into the back compartment to the 2x92mm rad and then to the CPU Block and back to the pump/res/rad combo.

The GPU Loop: The reservoir goes straight down to the pump(don't worry I will attach it with brackets later, broke them and have some new ones on the way), from the pump it goes to the 3x120 RAD, and then from that into the blocks which are in series, then it goes up to the 2x120 rad and then back to the res.

I had a lot of fun building this, and I will have lots more fun with it later.
did your aurora dye mess up yet? I have heard that it lasts 1 day and then the effect goes off, apparently it's not recommended for everyday use only for shows and such.
