Arranging the loop turned out to be the easiest part. I messed up on some of the initial tubing, and the only way I could get off the darn compression fitting was to put the thing in boiling water and literally tug the tube back out. (Apparently, it becomes so jelly nothing can stop it.)

Now that the case has been shipped, I'm going to lay off testing it till I can put it inside the case.

You have enough content to warrant it's own thread. Seriously though, I don't care where it is but it's easier to keep up with progression that way

Also if you look at my pic in signature you can see my cable management is that of someone who pulls apart the pc regularily. O.O

No pics of my PC as i don't have a camera at the moment (soon i hope) and you would all laugh at my OLD OLD case, weird components and dodgy cabling

Gotta say though, i love looking at the monster builds in here and wish i had the wonga to blow on a 'proper' gaming PC.

I love the 650D so much, but it's so damn expensive. I can't wait for the 550D to become a bit more widely available. I have my heart set on that case. <3

Imgur is acting up so I can't link them in small pictures.

I'm thinking about downgrading to a mid tower, I'm just not sure which midtower to buy, my current computer is too loud when I'm sitting next to it, and headphones aren't really me :/

Why downgrade in size? o.Ô I'd be more concerned about replacing the fans if it's too loud. Get some slip stream fans installed at low RPM imo, or watercool your beast.

If noise is a concern the Fractal Design Define R3 $110 might be a nice choice. Assuming you actually want to "downgrade".

I'm not experienced with watercooling and I don't want to risk it with the shipping fees from Denmark to Greenland (If you ie. order a monitor for $500 you need to pay $300 for shipping, I'll try it out when I move to Denmark.)

It's just huge and heavy, I'd rather not have it on the floor cause I have to put like 3 DVD/Game cases (Heh, put Mw3 & Brink on it) ontop of each end because the vibration through the floor is so huge the neighbour / my parents can hear it at night.

Also the fact that it's got poor GPU air cooling.

Vibration? I thought they had some really good rubber pads underneath.

They're decent, not the best though. The main issue is the loudness of the fans (The backside and tops), the poor GPU air & the fact that I can't move it around properly (or put it up somewhere)

So now that I have finally finished getting everything out of my old HAF X and getting that all ready to be stuck in a box and shipped off to Cooler Master, obviously, as some people know from other certain threads... I had to make do for a while. All I can say is, it's awesome, it's nice, the air from the CPU heatsink feels like a calm breeze going directly at my face, and the whole thing is completely silent. (For now, we'll see what happens when I boot up a game.) I really wish I could keep my computer like this, I really do. It's very cool. Looks truly unique, and it's just nice to be able to look so directly at all your hardware.

    Stats:

    i5-2500K@4.4GHz
    Zalman CNPS 9900ALED CPU heatsink
    Asus P8P67 board
    Crucial m4 128GB SSD
    Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
Western Digital 600GB 7200RPM Cav Blue
Western Digital 1.5TB 5900RPM Cav Green
Kingston and Corsair 1333MHz RAM (matched)
MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 560 Ti@950MHz core
    Asus Xonar DX sound card
    Cooler Master HAF X
Seasonic X Gold Series 660 Watt

    Peripherals that matter:

Samson 3A Media ONE Studio monitors
    1x Event TR5 studio monitor
Logitech Z2300 2.1 speaker set (will be replaced with more monitors)
    Razer Death Adder (1800dpi)
Corsair K90 Vengeance Mechanical Keyboard (Cherry MX Red)
    Shure SRH440 Professional Studio Headphones
    Microsoft 720 HD webcam
    Acer 1920x1080p LED monitor
    Gateway 1680x1050p LCD monitor

Games/programs this rig runs on a regular basis:

VMWare 8.0.2 for Linux Fedora 13 64 bit, Fedora 16, Windows XP Pro 32 bit.
    Rift
    Skyrim
    AOE: Online
    Windows Movie Maker

The rig as a whole stays obnoxiously cool (20-35 Celsius on GPU/CPU idling, 50s at full load) and very quiet.

I especially like the rubber band between the GPU and LAN cord. Gotta do what you gotta do eh?
Veridian Dynamics. Friendship. It's so important. But it's different at work. Time spent with friends at work robs your employer of opportunity. And robbing people is wrong. Veridian Dynamics. Friendship. It's the same as stealing.
