It's still a little cluttered around the SATA devices. I need longer SATA data cables. The drives are actually in backward, and I used the front fan bays to run the sata power and data cables. You can see the red one poking out a little. Also, I cleaned it up a bit more after that, after I found out that my front panel headers were on wrong.

    But thanks!

So that's really an Antec Three Hundred though? I know a *few* people IRL who are like THE ANTEC THREE HUNDRED IS A BEAST and yet it looks a lot like my old Gateway, granted it's obviously a bit bigger, but like the way to install HDDs seems painful. x_x

Either way looks like you had to spend at least an hour or so on tidying up those cables.

Four hours to take everything apart, clean dust, wash heatsinks, reapply thermal paste, wash fans, and reroute everything. D:
That said, some of the flame I've given to the Antec 300 was undeserved. Cable management sucks, but I was doing it WAY wrong before.

Any reason you picked the Corsair keyboard over the Mionix besides the blue leds?

    Let's see...
    - Brushed aluminum surface that looks amazing.
    - The design makes the K90 extremely easy to clean.
    - Macro keys.
    - I prefer MX Reds over MX Blacks (primarily tried with a 6Gv2).
    - Media keys, including volume control (I would hate to tab out every time I need to change volume or song).
    - The price in correlation to features.

And judging by reviews, the Corsair K90 also has...
    - Slightly better build quality.
    - Better wrist-rest.

I'm not saying that the Mionix Zibal 60 is a bad keyboard, it just isn't (to me at least) better than the K90, especially when you factor in the price. I'm pretty sure the K90 isn't the best keyboard out there, but since it has all the features I sought after I'm very pleased. Also to add, the MX Red switches aren't exactly widely available unfortunately.

hmm, then look at getting different fans, something like the CM Blademaster

everything i've found suggests that despite all the reviews to the contrary, they are not good radiator fans

  17. #5937
Err. They're 180mm fans, you know. And those are 180mm rads I've got.

By the way, one of the legs are cracked. -.-

I would also be hesitant, from a wide list of alternatives, to suggest the Air Penetrators as radiator fans; It's not what they are built for.
In the regard for surface-area, they are rather limited, as they are intended to achieve their prowess by "worse, but directed" airflow if you will.
And the directed airflow gets completely wasted in potential if they draw/hit air through a radiator, nullifying its potential advantage.

However, since it's what you already have, they wouldn't be completely awful at the task. Just not something I'd buy for the specific purpose.

well, there are two fans in the 180mm range, of teh two the AP's are better, so a cheap fix is this:

im trying to figure this out, everywhere i look people are using them on a radiator, even linus is using them on his personal build, but the stats just dont match up to a good rad fan, is there something special i dont know about these fans, (besides the directed airflow)

  20. #5940
M3 40mm... Yeah, I'll keep that in mind. When I get off my ass and head downtown for them, anyway. That said, there's also a 'frame' that the fan gets all cozy in. To fit the rad on I'm going to buy a dremel to fix some of the... fitting issues there.
