So I got a text yesterday. A guy I know was selling a computer for 10k NOK (roughly $1k in computer components) and was asking if I knew someone interested. I directed him to a RL friend of mine, we made the purchase, etc.

Specs are as follow:

So because it is faulty, he wants to sell it all for $1k~? I'm sorry but is he stupid? Take the SSD out, try and get a proper Samsung/WD HDD and just see how Windows does on that.... somehow I doubt he needs to sell everything. Or could he still return the OCZ SSD, if that's an option?

And people say SATA III OCZ SSDs are no problem with new firmwares, bahhh. What BSOD code are you guys getting?

Err, no. We bought the system from him. We being me and a friend. For whatever reason, it appears the SSD that had been working fine up till that point had gone faulty. (He'd been playing BF3 for hours on the machine literally the day before.)

Why don't you buy a studio desk? I think LA Music sells one of the ones that I am planning on getting (sold at Long & McQuade here in Canada). They are two tiered desks, Yorkville Sound makes them, the regular model is 46 x 21 inches on the main table and the upper table is 45 x 15 inches. Plenty enough room for a monitor plus studio monitor speakers, or two monitors and studio monitor speakers if you get the 70 inch desk.

Looking at the mousepad and by how far his G series keyboard goes over the edge, even that may just barely fit. Actually I can't think why such a desk would even be made...

I'm pretty sure the K360 will fit, I had that keyboard for awhile until I swapped it out with a keyboard with a touchpad, it's very responsive even when you're far away.

But I'm pretty sure we're going offtopic now :C

Edit: Back up and running, computers can be very annoying sometimes... Graphics card decided to stop working until I reset the CMOS.
