Actually there is quite a big jump in price going from 23" to 24"+, check prices on 23" and you'll see.

I suppose. 23 inch screens are plenty big enough for me anyway

I am going to order up a Vibe monitor stand next pay day, then hopefully get 3rd monitor in November.

Wasn't looking for advice, I already know what I am purchasing/building. I'm not very good with determining the whole "overkill" concept, I just saw a lot of similar builds using the HX850. Thank you though.

You really don't need anything over 500w unless your running multiple GPU's, multiple optical drives/high rpm hard drives or ALOT of high power fans. I've got an 8 core processor, 2 7200rpm sata drives, an HD7750, a dvd burner and 7 high speed fans and my 420w psu is more then enough.

While this isn't a build-help thread, with an x79-platform, 850 is "okay" if you intend to overclock, otherwise, the money are better spent elsewhere. And X79 isn't really the best platform for gaming to begin with.

Let the guy get a nice psu, its hardly worth pinching a few pennies at that point. Nice build, come home safe.

You mean the most money effecient? Because as far as i'm concerned.. it harnasses the most beastly of processors out there.

This isn't, again, the thread for that discussion.

Moved everything around in my room, bought a little table for my case since it was gathering too much dust on the ground.

Also made monitors more spread out, no more crammed area. (Means more area to lay trash/used plates, because I'm like that.)

Was a good idea to put 10% of all my money earned since I was 12 into a savings account, was that way I could afford the rig (Sold my old rig in Greenland too, paid for my 3 monitors and GTX 670) & my drivers license which I'll be getting soon :P

What, change your case for the thousandth time?

Kiding! We love drunkenvalleys weekly setups. ^_^

Also, even if it's only "half artsy" picture it looks sweet. I just love the DCUII cards. Clean and classy looking!

Well i'm near working full time now, so it's not going to take me that long really. But i still have to save and hardly spend anything for like 3 months straight.

And then i don't even have a car.

This is not a fast question/fast answer thread. If you want to discuss SSDs, create a new thread. That being said, there is already a ton of information on these forums regarding SSDs, how important/necessary they are, etc.

Finally got the shrinkless sleeving into the fingers, so to speak. (Also, burnt my fingers doing it. But progress!)
