I decided to move my bottom rad below the fans, since I felt that would probably be better off. However, there's a bit of a snag I've got to fix... Undecided on how, as I'd really like to avoid cutting into the case with tools. That would mean nasty bare metal, even if it's in a barely-if-ever seen spot...

Oh, the problem? Yeah, looks like this.

That said, I disassembled and reassembled my GTX 680s. They were a bit overdue an inspection after a spillage accident, so I checked that they looked fine and all. They were, far as I could tell.

Finally, here's a lil' shot of the left side of the HAF XB. Well, the components seen through that when the panel is off, anyway.

    Pics or it didn't happen!

    Also I wouldn't dare power a 280 with a CX430... =S

So yeah, this is pretty much the only "cable population" behind the motherboard.

For all the times I've had him complain either directly or indirectly to me about sleeving cables, I imagine it would be a pretty big sum of money. ;p That is IF...

These are the worst sleeved cables in the system. Look at the poor heatshrink. Still, thanks for support.

Couple of things happened today. For one, I fixed the radiator issue. The rad is now mounted on... on top of motherboard standoffs. Additionally, new fans are in place. I still don't have copper brown sleeve, but I thought I'd compare the Vanilla Strand or w/e-its-name-is sleeve to the fan.

I realize the alphacool logo is upside down. However, the underside of the rad is ugly as sin, so I'd prefer to keep it oriented this way around.

Somewhat unrelated, I whimsically decided to test the Noctua fans on my H100i in the HAF XB build. You can hear what the Noctua fans sounded like first by clicking here, and compare them to the stock fans.

    Also, pictures.

I do love me some Noctua-fans. They look sweet and accentuates the contrast to the other parts really well.

    Update since my last post.

I gave my brother my 7870 since I hated his 7770 he been using. Decided to give nvidia another chance. Been using AMD cards for years because of a bad nvidia experience. Got a GTX 680, kinda having regrets not getting a 7970 ghz lol. I was really impressed with the size of the card. My old 7870 was well into the hard drive bay. I don't like how my 2 SSDs are kinda just floating in the case, I dunno what to do about that.

This is my best cable management ever, lol

if images too big, i apologize.
    1) Props on reading 'The Last Command'.
    2) They make 'caddies' to hold SSDs in a regular sized bay.
