Marest your build makes me want to go back to ATX, it's hard to build something that pretty in an M-ATX or M-ITX case!

Nice build Marest. You did all the sleeving yourself or was that the pre-sleeved pack from corsair? Reason I'm asking is because I'm still at a crossroads wether to sleeve cables myself or just take the easiest route and buy the sleeved cables or extensions. No one can tell the difference but me anyway and peoples eyes will be on the custom loop first and foremost. But I'm such a perfectionist........

nvm, failed to read all the text drooling over the pictures. They look stunning tbh.

You'll have to say that a bit louder Deltrus. I am not sure he could hear you over the sound of your Haf X.

But seriously Marest, that is gorgeous.

Marest, could you post a picture of the rear of the motherboard tray? I would be interested in seeing how you sorted out the cables so that they are almost invisible, maybe pick up some tricks

    That is beautiful Marest.

    Mechanical keyboards win.

    Always.

Marest also isn't a fan of flashy tacky looking stuff.

It's better than some keyboards I've seen, but still, I'd prefer a whole separate controller. Maybe some macros right there, but that's it.

Mechanical keys actually have switches and can last almost indefinitely longer than membrane/rubber-dome keyboards.

If longer lasting was all the difference, I would have never bought my mechanical keyboard, least not till my last keyboard - Logitech G15 v2, died. Mechanical keyboards is a WHOLE other world.

    Here's some reading:

This was shot when I was originally working on the build.

Well, I use my fingers, hands and arms. Sometimes I roll my face from side to side. Joking aside, it adds more space for my mouse and improves posture. I was going to tackle this in my megathread, but you might consider giving these a read:

Did you miss the picture I just posted? If that isn't tacky I don't know what is.

    12GB of RAM? O.o
So what, 2x4GB and 2x2GB, yeah?

    Also, come on, pictures!

I would have dropped to the i5-2500K and used the $100~ saved to get a higher end motherboard. $60 is more than likely holding you back, no overclocking most likely, poor low end parts, and far less features.
