So you bought it all already... without asking us?

I assure you, no one is going to tell you that you spent your money well, except on maybe the HDD, case, and monitor.

Processor and motherboard are an ancient architecture, literally 4+ years old, I have no idea why you bought those, unless you got them used, then it would be a different scenario entirely.
Power Supply is well over 200 watts overkill.

Again though, I suggest making your own thread, as people come here to comment on fully-built rigs, not to tell someone their opinions on their purchase. This is a picture thread, not a Q&A, but we'd love to help you out in a separate thread.

Depends what you'd consider to be a lot.

Paying a lot does typically get a more comfortable and glorious experience, though.

Deltrus, I never realized you lived in IL. I just moved to Chicago from Atlanta earlier this year. We could totally hang out dude Also, I am a bit sour that IL does not get Yuengling... I have just about decided Goose Island 312, while very different, is almost as good. Hit me up with a PM the next time you are thinking about being in Chitown! I live in Lakeview/Wrigley area by Montrose beach.

Went from a i5 2500k because I wanted moar threads for work stuff, same reason for going from 8 to 16 gigs (going for 32 as soon as I can). Obviously great for gaming too. Pretty happy and will start messing with OCing that i7 soon enough.

Was a sale, so i couldnt hold myself. Bought ASUS gtx770 2GB DirectCU II OC, Kingston HyperX 3K 240gb ssd and BenQ 24" 3D LED XL2411T 144hz.
Also bought a 760 for my friend, will be a nice upgrade from whatever he had. Mail is taking forever it seems.

    My home cosy computer.

Case: Xigmatek Elysium (amazing airflow with that big side fan). Yes its almost as tall as my desk
CPU: i5-2500k at 4.5ghz at good low voltages, low temperatures
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-C14 (Gets kinda dusty, http://i.imgur.com/Vl6XldA.jpg)
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance low profile 1.5 V 1600Mhz 2x4GB
    Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO B3
    HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB
    PSU: Corsair AX 850W PSU
GPU: The MSI GTX 560TI Twin Frozr II (Awesome card, good OC, low temperatures with case side fan blowing at it)

    Bought for christmas
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DG (Cheap, but made a BIG difference)
    Headset: Corsair HS1A
Speakers: Corsair Gaming Series 2500 (Amazing, also rather cheap)

Screen is an Acer lcd 24" i got cheap.
Keyboard and mouse is something i got for 20$, quite good. Broke my old mouse

Also, is migrating parts of your HDD like OS to a ssd easy or will i maybe run into problems? Otherwise, good builds guys

I personally prefer to just install a new OS, if you want to move it over, though I've heard cloning works well enough.

Does installing a new OS on the ssd wipe your hdd? Or can you just install a new one and kind off delete the old OS from your HDD? Dont want to do a clean install when i have 300-400gb of games i want to keep.

It won't affect your HDD. If anything, just keep your HDD unplugged until Windows is installed.

Why do you say that? All the intakes are dust filtered and the exhausts are not. I also added one extra Noctua NF-P12 with a dust filter where the optical drives would be. So I have 4 intakes, 3+GPU as exhaust (a bit slower than the intakes), trying to keep positive pressure with air coming only through the filters.
