Which cards are they matey?

MSI GeForce GTX 670 Twin Frozr Power Edition + Palit GeForce GTX 670 Jetstream.

Both at 1200 Core, 3500 (7000) Vram, boost pushes the cores up to 1260~1300, depending. Idle temps of 30 degrees, 60~65 for the lower one under Furmark, 65~73 for the top one.

Decided to sit out of upgrading them atm, I want to see what's coming next year first.

i also question the specs, 2500Mhz (oc? or typo) ram is not going to run stable on a 3960x, 2133 is about as high as you can get stable, the memory controller is one of the big advantages to upgrading to ivy-e

Just moved so walls and etc. are pretty plain and cable management non-existant. Here's an overall pic though:



Everything can change color except the Blackwidow, so I just made everything green to match for the pic lol.

Sorted the cable management out a bit now, its hard doing good cable work in a small case but i think that's about how good i can get it right now.

Why an unlocked CPU with a motherboard you can't overclock with?

What work do you do to need the RAM and the i7? (just curious)

8GB is pretty standard these days considering its cheap, why go for 4GB anyway in 2013?

Cheap? The price has barely gone down the last 2 years... But yea, 8gb is the way to go nowadays.

I finally decided to get a proper sized monitor and while I was hesitant for quite a while, on Saturday I brought one of those Korean 1440p monitors on ebay and it arrived today.





The monitor on the left is the one I was using as my primary up until now.

I will admit, I did wuss out at the last minute and payed the extra 24 euro for the "pixel perfect" version, but that is exactly what I got, not a single defective pixel I can detect and while there is some very minor back light bleed, I had to bring up and full black screen before I even noticed it.

The few things I was concerned about before I brought it, such as the response time, turned out to be non-issues. Though I am pretty sure I need a bigger/better desk at this point.

And while my Radeon HD 6850 can run games on it reasonably well as long as I keep the settings fairly conservative, I plan to upgrade to a R9 290 at some point after the board partners are allowed to release their custom coolers.

Pretty basic, haven't done any cable management. Using the components below. About to upgrade to the R9 290 though once they release ones with more options than the cards now.
