My First RP Character-Sylvas Sunchaser

This is my first Role-playing Character so any suggestions are available. More changes will be made eventually... Here it is:

Name: Sylvas Sunchaser

Age: 3155 years old

Race: Blood Elf, High Elf (formerly)

Gender: Male

Class: Blood Mage

Personality: Sylvas is usually a quiet silent and shy person, growing up in one of the most famous families of the High Elves he views the poorer elves as less than him. He trained with the other Blood Mages in Silvermoon to later go on to Outland to find the “promised land”. Even though he gave his loyalty to Kael'thas Sunstrider, he decided to join the Horde and he has come to respect the other races though he is shown to make racist remarks from time to time. He does not completely trust the Forsaken seeing them as the same who abandoned the High Elves in their greatest time of need and he sees them as the same kind of those that destroyed his homeland.

Likes/Dislikes: Sylvas dislikes the Scourge for destroying Quel'Thalas during the Third War. He likes to be grouped with people that show true leadership even in the darkest hour. He dislikes the Alliance because they abandoned the High Elves during the Scourge Invasion. Personally he trusts the High Elves because he too was one once. He dislikes alcohol, because he can't concentrate while in a battle.

Strengths/Weaknesses: His strengths are trust, reliability, extended knowledge of magic and loyalty. His weaknesses are poor close combat skills; sometimes his shyness affects him as he is afraid to take leadership and alcohol which does not let him concentrate.

History:

-Birth and The Troll Wars

He was born 3,155 years before the Shattering. The second of two brothers he was born of a noble family. In his childhood he was always shunned by his family for his poor magical skills. His brother Kath’ranis took all the glory while he was kept in the darkness. He worked hard every day to master the skills of a mage. The two brothers became High Elven Mages. Soon after they were asked to join the High Elven Forces to battle the Trolls alongside the Humans of Strom in what is now known as "The Troll Wars".

-Second War and the Alliance Expedition to Draenor

Many years after the war ended the Human Empire of Strom ceased to exist. The city-states then became their own independent kingdoms and one of them was Dalaran, which was created by Human and High Elven mages. Kath'ranis went to study magic in Dalaran, because the family though Sylvas’ magical powers were weak. Even though he was shunned by his family many times he kept improving his magical skills. In his loneliness he met Aldos, an elf from a poor family who dreamed to become a Ranger. They quickly became friends even though they were from different social classes and they even fought from time to time to test their skills. Sylvas met Aldos ' sister and he developed a crush on his sister Laurith and she felt the same way about him. They would sometimes meet in secret while Aldos was training. The two eventually decided not to go forward in their relationship since Aldos was Laurith’s's brother and Sylvas' best friend. Time passed and then came the Second War. In an invasion by the orc's in Quel'thalas a group of orcs attacked Aldos, Sylvas and Laurith. Aldos and Sylvas tried to protect Laurith from the orcish invaders. Sylvas managed to kill a couple of orcs with his magic but Aldos' ranger abilities where still too weak and he was being attacked by two orcs meanwhile Laurith was badly injured by an Orc Grunt. Sylvas rushed to her side but he was wounded terribly by the orc he took his Aldos in rage shot his killed the two orcs attacking him and came to Sylvas’ side. Sylvas casted a Portal to their capital and Sylvas alongside Aldos who was carrying his severly injured sister ported to Silvermoon. The High Elven priests tried to save Laurith but she died. Aldos was shattered by the loss of his beloved sister and decided he would take revenge on the Orcs. Sylvas was also demolished since Laurith was his first ever love. Aldos decided to train with the Rangers and when he finally became one he and Sylvas participated in the end of the Second War. After the orcs where defeated the High Elves decided to leave the Alliance of Lordaeron. Some high elves however decided to join the Alliance Expedition to Draenor to defeat the orcish threat once and for all. Aldos was one of them he decided to leave Azeroth with the Alliance Expedition to Draenor so he could have his revenge on the orcs that killed his sister. Sylvas decided to stay in Quel’thalas and he kept practicing his magic.

-Third War

Then came the Third War and the High Elves where attacked by the Death Knight Arthas and the scourge. He fought to protect Quel'Thalas and the Sunwell from the scourge but was defeated. After the invasion Kael'thas returned from Dalaran and Sylvas’ brother Kath'ranis also returned seeking revenge against the traitor prince. Kael’thas renamed the surviving High Elves Blood Elves in name of their fallen comrades. Kath'ranis was quick to join Kael'thas’ army as they tried to defeat the scourge. Sylvas however decided to stay in Quel’thalas to rebuild Silvermoon. Later Kael’thas’ army they joined Illidan's Forces when the naga under Lady Vashj saved the Blood Elves. They marched to Northrend where they would take vengeance upon Arthas and the Lich King but neather Kael'thas Sunstrider nor Illidan Stromrage were powerful enough to defeat Arthas and his runeblade Frostmourne. After the defeat Kael’thas said that he would take the Blood Elves into a promised land. Kath'ranis decided to go to this Promised Land. Illidan’s forces went to Outland which is the remains of Draenor, because they wanted to hide from Kil’Jaeden because of their failed mission in Northrend.

-The Burning Legion’s Crusade and the return to Outland

Meanwhile five years later when the Dark Portal opened once again the Blood Elves in Azeroth decided to join the Horde. Sylvas helped the other blood elves in retaking their homeland from the scourge and trolls in the Eversong Forest and Ghostlands. He fought alongside Tauren, Trolls, Forsaken and Orcs, which the later two where once his enemies. He also went to Outland the Promised Land to reconcile with the other Blood Elves. But what he found was something that he never expected. Kael’thas and his blood elves decided to side with the Burning Legion and their Leading Member Kil’Jaeden. He met his brother in the battlefield and was shocked to see his brother was now a Fel Blood Elf Warlock. He was shattered but the two fought in the end Sylvas was defeated but he was saved by an Alliance caravan. One of the members of the Alliance caravan was Aldos. When Aldos saw his best friend’s green eyes he was angered. His best friend had become a magically-addicted traitor called Blood Elf. He had heard from Alliance forces of what had become of the High Elves of Quel’thalas and he heard that most High Elves became Blood Elves and joined the Horde were Orcs, trolls and undead helped them. Aldos told Sylvas they were no longer friends and that next time they met it would be on the battlefield. Sylvas left saddened by his best friend’s rejection. He swore to defeat the maddened Prince Kael’thas and the Burning Legion so Sylvas helped the Horde achieve their goals.

-The Nexus War, Fall of the Lich King and the Shattering

A year after Kael’thas was finally defeated and Kil’Jaeden push back into the nether he joined the Horde Forces in Northrend to defeat the Lich King’s Scourge. He also became a member of the Kirin Tor and they battled Malygos’ Mage Hunters. In Dalaran he saw his friend Aldos as a member of the Silver Covenant. They did not speak to each other and simply ignored each other. After the Fall of the Lich King by the hand of the grand Paladin Tirion Fordring, Sylvas stayed in Dalaran to continue studying magic. Many years later the Blackwing Greatfather, Neltharion destroyed the World’s Pillar by breaking through Deepholme into Azeroth. Now he has decided to return to Orgrimmar where he is ready to help the Horde Forces defeat Deathwing the Destroyer and his Black and Twilight Dragonflights in anyways he can.

Well first off I'd say that you should really make that history into separate paragraphs. It would really help us out a lot in terms of critiquing.

I also saw a couple references to major lore characters in there, which I'd highly suggest you stay away from. Having a character directly connected to a big lore character is frowned upon.

Just read through and put periods where they need to be, I forget sometimes too lol. Make sure to check wowpedia on blood elf lore and add in things you may have missed or if you want to add more.
