Why do you World of Warcraft?

Hi, I'm Verimizz, and I'm a WoW addict.
I started back in Vanilla with a friend of mine down the street, from there it grew into an addiction that I shared with more and more friends.

Today I play because I got stationed a few states away from my friends, and use it as a way to chill with them, and not spend 300$ on a plane ticket.

So why do you World of Warcraft?

Is it your friends that keep you playing?
Your guild need you?
Your l33t gear and status that keep you sniffin' that warcrack?

Gives me something to do and a lot of my friends play it. Raid content keeps me coming back and being the only Hunter on the guild I'm needed. Ah hell who am I kidding, the guild would be better off with a Shockadin as DPS.

The sheer popularity of the game, with the added bonus of the fact that I'm better than most players. In other words, I've got some epeen to flaunt! (Yes, I do have a life, but due to recent events, not much to show for it =/ )

Also, I like video games.
