Reputation tabards

I read -somewhere- last week that people were getting reputation with all the alliance cities by using a single tabard. Their chat would say "reputation with The Alliance has been increased by blah blah"

Was that a bug that has been fixed? For the life of me I can't find the thread and blue post on it.

I know certain quests that I was doing was rewarding reputation to the Horde. It's probably the same thing with the alliance. There isn't a tabard on recieving rep for the Alliance/Horde in instances

As far as I know you can only gain rep with the city whos tabard you are wearing.

there is a specific invisible reputation named The Horde aand The Alliance that u can rep up individually. look at ur armory poage and u can see it
