Right now my mage is 450 jewel-crafting, and 450 tailoring.. And i was seriously considering dropping tailoring for engineering.. Whats the consensus?

Never actually got this discussion going.. and i think it has alot to do with caster dps.. Would it be better just to wait till i get to 85 and then switch out tailoring when the new materials costs go down?
I have a warlock with 450 ench and 450 alch and was considering dropping one for eng too, but honestly I don't think eng is worth dropping either of my professions since they are at 450 currently. Now if I was starting over from scratch I'd go eng and alch.
My Warlock is JC/Eng, it's alot of fun and makes serious bank(:
Just wait for that if blizzard removes that high fail chance on nitro boosts, if not, dont pick engi imo. And when cata is out you can prolly make some good money with tailoring if you buy some new recipes etc.
