it was a tedious, horrible, long, boring grind that in the end netting you a recolored nightsaber. Imo it actually looked worse than the level 40 non epic mounts but I guess some people really digged it. no idea why..

The venomhide mount that later became the horde counterpart was much easier to obtain, and the whole wintersrping saber thing wasn't even a big deal because the horde were never at a disadvantage because the new raptor was added around the same time achievements were for those petty, squabbling mount collectors.

As an alliance player I am kinda envious that the horde get a new mount to toy around with until Cata, but I guess I'll feel better when I'm playing my worgen making all the horde jealous hehe
