Profession Guild Achievements

Hi all I've looked all around this forum and the official Guild Advancement forum and I haven't found an answer to the question of....

"Do the guild achievements Dust, Dust and more Dust! (Disenchant 100,000 items) and Gemcrafter Extrodinare (Cut 25,000 gems of at least superior quality) require level appropriate items to get credit for them?"

Im fairly certain that at least the former one doesn't but not so sure about the latter, technically superior gems are just rare quality ones.

Would just like some confirmation from anyone who was in the Beta or knows for certain. (No point pre-stocking if they're gonna be worthless )
