Transmute: Living Element Questions

I have a couple of questions about the Alchemy Transmute Living Elements.

For those who don't know, the spell changes 15 Volatile Life randomly into Volatile Fire, Air, Earth or Water. However, the description is quite vague, so I was wondering if how it works could be cleared up for me. If anyone knows any of the answers, please feel free to answer!

1: How many Volatiles do you get from the Transmute? Is it 1:1, aka 15 Volatile Life -> 15 Other Volatiles?

2: Do you always get all of the same type of Volatile? Ex: Do you always get all Volatile Fire, or all Volatile Water?

3: Is there an equal chance of getting every volatile type? This would probably be a harder one to answer considering there's no beta anymore, but if anyone has a vague idea that would be fine.

4: Will it be possible to get Transmute Mastery procs off this?

I only tried this a couple of times on beta so my anwsers come from limited experience but here's what I know:

1. Yes, it's 1:1

2. It's random, no telling what you'll end up with but it did convert to all of the same type of volatile.

3. Honestly don't know, it just seemed completely random on what I ended up with.

4. Not sure sorry.
