Enigma is designed to be the best, while still maintaining a moderate raid schedule. We seek skilled, adaptive, and active players that can manage themselves without the need for hand-holding. If you join Enigma, you will not be held back by other players or poor leadership. We've created a strong tradition of server firsts and have no interest in letting that slip. We are hoping to move upwards to compete clearly on the continent scale and are looking for a few more players to round off our core so we can do just that.
Current Recruitment Needs: Resto Shaman / Resto Druid Boomkin
Mage
DPS DK/Enhance Shammy
Hunter
Room can always be made for the best of any class and build.
About Enigma Schedule:
6-10 Monday-Thurs MST, Sunday 6-10 can be potentially be tacked on during high pressure circumstances. Loot:
Combination of Loot Council & DKP Recording, primarily to close the exploitable holes that each has individually. Raid size:
We are a 25 man guild and have no intention of converting to 10s.
Raiding:
Enigma is a small core guild. This is a guild that at it's raider cap will only have 15% more players in total than we need to fill out raids. Ideally we should be looking at 32 or 33 people that can maintain enough attendance to have 28-29 at any given raid. We will not recruit more than enough people to fill a single 25m raid, and are not interested in having 2 or more 25m groups. However, we are very interested in having a strong alt core, and work towards pulling off what Paragon did in ICC. Alts aren't mandatory at the moment, but we will probably decide to have everyone treat another character as a second main in Cataclysm.
Atmosphere:
We know exactly what we're doing to get onto the cutting-edge progression scene, and all we need at this point to be competing in the top 30 World are skilled, adaptive, and active players. This is one of very few guilds that can push you hard as a player, yet is still in a position to still be filling core raiding spots for the immediate and future. We expect that all our raiders stay active about seeking and spreading relevant knowledge to create an environment where we miss nothing. The theme we try to stick to is professionalism, we spend 90% of our time relaxed, but everyone has to understand the difference between it and the focus necessary for the remaining 10%.
We are not an ancient guild, we started up just before WotLK with a very shaky guild roster. Enigma has made huge improvement from the time it was formed and will continue to do so in the future. In addition we have an extremely low turn-over rate, I think we've lost a total of 2 raiders we were intent on keeping, both of whom have actually returned. Roughly 70% of applicants that become Trials make member and core raider.
