Sorry for this thread but I don't play wow since 2007..Was thinkin' about to make a warlock with cataclysm release but I cannot decide which race.
Don't care about racials and stats.. You know better than me that if you know your class you don't need the racials..

Pick the one that looks best in tier gear, because that's what you'll be stuck in.

I agree, the new tier looks seriously stupid on some races (like human...which my lock is human QQ)

I would choose the one that you like the most regardless of racials. They don't help *that* much. I'm going Goblin for the haste so I'm probably a very bad example. Do as I say, not as I do.

Also check out each race's casting animation. I were considering swapping to worgen come cata untill I saw their casting animations, there's just no way I'm going to spend my time watching my character wave it's hands like that.
