New type of chest?

I just found a chest in the Badlands. It did not look like your normal chest, but I looted it anyhow. I had no quests in my quest log at the time. When I looted it I was awarded 10k xp (equivalent of a quest's xp at that level) and also received a blue ring (Ring of the Hierophant) that was BoE. Wish I got a SS of it. Anyone else come across one of these?

I looted one in the Wetlands that had a blue sword, it had nothing to do with any of my quests. I didn't notice if I got any XP or not, but it seemed strange to me.

i came across tons of them while questing thro all the zones on my main and yes they are new they are intended for the lowbies that quest thro the zones for a little kick in gear and lvling fun they are now actualy treasure chests something worth while looting than some healing pots and some lame food so im happy lets hope they added them to the new cata zones aswel ^^
