SUCH a good book, it's what pushed me over the edge to making horde toons on my server.

Arthas and Stormrage were new books. Lord of the Clans is fairly old, and it's a fantastic read.

There's now an audiobook, so if you'd like, you can listen to Thrall's life in deep man-voice.

You should really look into Lord of the Clans, it's one of my favourite Warcraft books. Also, The Last Guardian was a good read. That one is about Medivh.

Rise of the Horde is also a great story.

It covers Durotan (Thrall's father, of course) and the orcs through the battles with the Draenei on Draenor, and the pre-lude to the Orcs invasion of Azeroth.

There are like 13? books or something, pretty much every single one of them is worth checking out. I started with the War of the Ancients Trilogy then did my best to keep it in "chronological" order
A hero of war, yeah that's what I'll be. And when I come home, they'll be damn proud of me

If you're interested in some Orc and Human history, with a little bit of Draenei, go in the following order:

Rise of the Horde --> The Last Guardian --> Tides of Darkness --> Beyond the Dark Portal --> Lord of the Clans.

Thank Lokann for that order. I read Rise of the Horde, and I just had to see what happened next!

Unfortunatley, I'm still reading 'The Last Guardian'. I just haven't had the time.

I really loved The Shattering. I see a lot of people rip on it, but I think Christie Golden is a fantastic author.

I liked the Shattering quite a bit, and I loved Lord of the Clans and Rise of the Horde.
