    Safe House 7.5/10

I think people are too harsh on the movie, I have a thing for Bourne-esque movies so I might be a bit biased but I thought it was pretty good it showed how being a target of the US government doesn't make you an enemy of the US itself and how corrupt branches of the intelligence community are.

Well maybe not, I was just amazed that he started out doing Troma films.

I actually hadn't realised he was involved with Troma :S

    Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter. 6/10
With a title like this you know for a fact it's going to be a silly movie, and it does not disappoint. Terrible acting, and camera work, Shoddy Special effects, the most idiotic of storylines, and fight scenes that look like a group of mates messing around in the park, but some how, despite all that I still managed to enjoy it. Kungfu Jesus is somthing to be seen!

    Mad Max (1979): 7/10

Cult, over the top, disturbing, with high speed and chaotic car chases and villains straight out of a comic book. The story is "lol whatever" but who really cares about the story. A movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, great if you want to see something fast and furious.

Pretty funny, if you're into Seth Rogen's kind of humor. Had a moral, too!

    City of God - 8/10
The second best rated none-American movie, City of God is pretty darn good, considering that it's Brazilian. Lots of layers, lots of characters.

Sometimes. I'm going through a rough patch in my life, you know... ='/ I kinda need to focus on my art right now.

    Dredd - 8 / 10

Honestly a lot better than I expected. I'm a fan of the original Judge Dredd movie and its campiness, so I was skeptical of this one, but I was definitely wrong. The story was good and Karl Urban makes a better Judge Dredd than Sly ever did (though for myself, I was hoping he'd boldly declare "I AM THE LAW" just once...yeah he did say it, but it was kind of subdued). I like the look of the Judge's uniforms here and how tactical they look, though I do think the helmet design could have been better.

The biggest problem to me was that for a film set in the future, it didn't feel very futuristic at all. It doesn't need flying vehicles and robots everywhere like the Stallone film had, but there could have been more. In particular, the Judge's bikes looked rather plain and all the familiar late 70s through mid-90s model cars we saw on the streets; doesn't ANYONE in Megacity-1 have a new(ish) vehicle?

    Elysium 2/10

I actually couldn't watch it to the end. Stopped at like 80%. It's just that bad. Jodie Foster, what the hell? She's an awesome actress but that was just so bad, and half the cast had these fake weird and, most of all, bad accents.

    Dead Snow 2: 10/10

Amazing sequel to the first movie from 2009. Nazi zombies may seem very cliché, but they know how to use them for a great movie. This is basically like the Evil Dead trilogy, where the first movie is more horror, but the second movie more comedy. With Dead Snow so far its the same, and they do a great job with it.

    The Strangers: 7.5/10

Pretty creepy movie with quite an atmosphere, but the flaws are that there's no background with the villains and the ending felt dissapointing. And the main characters may not be that likeable, but for the rest the movie is doing its job great.

    A Haunted House 2: 6/10

Think its better then the first movie, but both are still pretty bad.

Expected a cheesy superhero movie, got a brilliant funny experience with amazing soundtrack. Can't put a finger on what causes it, but it gives me this Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy feel.

Good story at the start, too much action/CGi porn at the end. GREAT music!

    Maleficent 5/10.

Advertisements gave off a darker feel only for me to walk into a kids movie. Feels like Disney is taking a more feminist approach to storytelling.

Pretty intriguing movie, with some awesome actors and performances, and it really shows you how crappy being undercover can be (and also how awesome it can be I guess).
