    Oblivion: 9/10

Loved it, the twist was amazing, theres a part in the movie when my jaw dropped.. and i was just like.."noooo way.. wtf!"

Think they coulda spent a little more time on the ending though, seemed a little too quick to me, they didnt answer all the questy, mainly being Who.

    Evil Dead: 7/10

It was gory, got a few cheap scares out of me. I liked how it kept iconic scenes from the original, girl raped by bush/tree, hero losing arm and wielding chain saw. Some freaky gross moment, like the girl licking the razor.

Otherwise i feel the acting was sub par. Story was a little lame.

    Django 10/10

Fantastic I love Q.T films. Walken does it for me, and Foxx is a strong actor, fantastic. Leo Dicaprio is easy to hate, but Samuel L. takes the cake by being the pratty house nigger (mods thats what he was....dont infract thanks.) and i really hated Smauels character more then Mr. Candy.

    The Host.

2/10. Plot was awful and didn't care for the love triangle.

    Oblivion. 8/10

Enjoyable, fun to watch. Bit predictable though, the scavs are human bit I saw a mile away. Jack having a thousands clones though, not so much.

Oh and it wasn't until the blond dude was taking aim at a drone during the big fight sequence that I realized that was Jaime Lannister's actor.

Taken (2008). Liked the main character and how he was portrayed (plus, Liam Neeson is pretty good). The ex-wife was kind of a moron and just proved the protagonist right every single time when she berated everything he did and thought, which in turn would put their own freaking daughter and her friend in danger when they got kidnapped (did not honestly help that the friend died). One redeeming quality is that she finally stopped acting like an ass when she finally realized what was going on.

As for the plot, it was pretty interesting and fast paced, and it was satisfying to the emotions you got when watching it. Though, considering that the main protagonist was a pensioner in the story, it seemed to me that he was fighting like he was 20/30. Of course it's a movie, but when you take down dozens of people, barely sleep for about 4 days, and have no one else to fight all those battles but yourself, it starts to get into Superman levels of resilience. Plus, he managed to find clues on his chase quite quickly, but considering what a perfectionist he was it at least is a bit easier to swallow.

Watched V for Vendetta (2006) again and it is a great movie with the message it is giving.

    I give it a 9/10.

Watched Total Recall Extended Directors cut (2012) for the first time a few days ago and it is just an ok action movie but nothing more. Nothing amazing just something to watch but it wasn't so bad that I started doing other things either.

    I give it a 4/10.

After watching alot of shit horrors in last few years, this one was pleasantly surprising, maybe cause it didnt have any A list B list actors in it.

My girlfriend hadn't seen it so I felt she should. Still a great movie after all these years.

Went to see Evil Dead yesterday. I was quite disappointed, it lacked the charm of the original and the sound mix which gave it a real edge. It was turned into a generic torture porn, non-scary modern horror with far too many modern horror cliches. 4/10.

I totally agree but I think the mark you gave t was too low, while the original Evil Dead was silly I do feel this current one takes itself too seriously, still good though, it was nice to spot the bits that reminded you of the actual movie, the fact that there was a female lead really didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

I give it a 6/10 for effort, #Surprised me a lot more than I thought it would.

Pretty much. Probably very intentional as my group of friends know how badly I handle gore.

    Django:

I couldn't get into it but Samuel L Jackson is sexy so I'll give it a few extra points for that. 6/10

    Miracle (2004)

7/10. A great nostalgic and "feelgood" movie, though it contains so many clichés that it gets a bit annoying. Also carried by a great performance by Kurt Russell.

    Upside down : 10/10

This is a romantic SF movie. It's about two planets that orbit one another, one is filled with rich folk, one with poor. There are 3 laws in the world, matter from a planet will always be attracted to that planet (gravity speaking), matter from both sides can be linked together to compensate this, but after a while the tension between the two would create heat and the link between the two would burn.

I liked it because it's in a way a movie about hope, love and some SF there too and how love can beat unthinkable odds and change the world.

Warning: For those that will want to think of the movie scientifically, this is not a movie for you, you'd be swarmed by questions like "why don't the two planets hit eachother?" or "why does an object made on a world always get attracted to that world even when it's closer to the other planet?". It's a science fiction movie. Either accept that fiction is fiction or find another movie.

    GI Joe 2:

    Plot: 1/10
    Visuals: 7/10
    Acting: 5/10

Subpar story, even for a toy movie....too many plot holes, "wtf" and "why the hell are they doing that/that doesn't make any sense" moments. Visually excellent, the 3D was a major bonus. Why they changed the writers and directors after the first movie is beyond me..."Hey, the first movie was a smashing success! Great...now lets take that winning formula and do the complete opposite.../facepalm"

New Total recall 0/10 Sucked horribly, worthless movie to watch. Disliked because it just has a really bad plot. Robots yeah like that hasnt been done a million times over. At least the original one was something new.

12903th time watching Aliens 10/10 because I'm totally bias towards the aliens franchise

Oblivion - 6/10. The story was mediocre and there were definitely a couple of plot holes that were bugging me by the time the movie was over. The setting was cool though and I liked the concept. It just could have been executed so much better.

I saw this and had to turn it off early, I thought it was god awful (and I didn't even care about the scientific issues regarding the two planets). Goes to show how differently two people can view the same film, I suppose.

I'm always shocked when people go see something like "GI Joe Retaliation" which features heavily....high wire ninjas running on mountains...The Rock is doing something not involve bending metal bars for fun...space weapons...Cobra in general...

...then getting caught up in plotholes.

It's like going on Vacation to Somalia and then getting disappointed at all the bullets in the air.

You should add "unchained" to it
Django - the original is Franco Nero, and to me remains untouched. The best Django ever. Despite 1966 made, with many remakes made later down the road....

    I vote that, 8/10.
the 2 pts deduction is just because it's so old now already, and some stuff looks a little weird, due to the lack of modern special effects.

But it's just epic..... Some lonely gunslinger, walking everywhere, dragging a coffin behind him.. priceless. lol
