Fishing from 500-525 Bugged in cata?

Apparently fishing from 500-525 only takes 1 fish for a level up. Can anyone confirm / deny this? If this is true, its worthwhile to return your daily among the ranks of 498-500 because they will give you the biggest advantage.

El's Anglin' rank table has had 500 - 525 listed as 1 and 450 to 500 as 9 since it was updated near the start of beta; http://www.elsanglin.com/role_of_skill.html

Assuming that's correct then yes turning the fishing daily in at 498 would give you an advantage, but it does seem very strange so could well have been a bug.

Just did a bit of research and El's Anglin has listed in their bug section

"Fishing skill-ups (may?) occur with every catch between 500 and 525. On average, 450 to 500 requires 9.25 catches per skill-up, so 500+ should require at least this number."

Whether it will be fixed when it goes live or if it's intended to be this way I don't think anyone can confirm/deny at this point other than if you get lucky with an answer on the official forums.
