    Question Strange Problem

    Hey.

Basically whenever I'm in combat in a dungeon my framerate jumps around like it goes from 70 -40 back to 90. So every few seconds the screen pauses for about 0.5 seconds then goes back. I tried Vertical Sync but it still does this. its noticeable and annoying i was just wondering if anyone knows what is causing this? Only started happening 2 days ago :/

There's a few threads on this. It's a problem I have occasionally too, I sit at around 100-120fps on Ultra yet still get random freezes even with process priority set to Realtime.

Is this your first time running this dungeon since the new patch? If so, try deleting your cache folder inside wow. Your loading screens will be slow the first time you zone in anywhere - but after the first time in it should be back to normal - and hopefully your frame rate issue will go away as well.

Its my first time going into the dungeons on heroic yeah? So basically just delete my cache and I should be fine?

Indeed, give us another post if it doesn't work and we can explore other issues. But its most likely your cache
