You have to take into account unreasonable wives. I know two people in RL who play WoW and have this issue. One only gets a single evening to play a week most of the time, and his wife still bitches at him for playing. That's not his failing, that's her being unreasonable in my oppinion.

Some women (and I'm sure guys too) don't like their partners doing something so self-absorbed as WoW, even if it's for a single night a week. The solution we came up with was to call it a "Boys night out", and to treat it as if we'd all gone down the pub or something :P

This exactly. There are so many noobs who are unaware of the benefits of losing LoS with their wife, can't seem to be able to interrupt, and cc.
You need to be aggressive, set up a burst combo while she's silenced, and show her who's boss.
