Just about two weeks now, and the question is did you get the achievement from getting killed by Deathwing?

you phrase this as if the achievement is going away. We all have roughly 2 years to get this achievement. And no, i did not get him, given that he doesnt do fly bys of major cities or starting areas, nor northrend or outland, I was never really in any danger of having him kill me

I leveled a new toon from 1-60 and didn't see him at all. I'm not worried though. Plenty of time left to get the achievement.

Twice actually.. lol. I got the cheeve for only one of them. First time He flew over me, threw fire but I didnt die. Opened a ticket and was promised to be BBQ'd. Second time, was minding my own business in EPL, jsut got on a flight path to Lights hope, and BAM my HP goes to 1 HP and ding the cheeve. He looks so BA.

I finally got toasted this morning at like 2 a.m. while leveling up my mage in Stonetalon. I was running on my mount and my screen turned red, thought it was the effect of a quest I had just picked up and didn't even notice the giant dragon raining down hell on everything until I was already dead. Yay fire!

i was in the western plaguelands when I saw my whole screen go red. I thought, "damnit, my video card is over-heating during winters now too?" but he came and blasted all the land with fire. The sad part is i was trying to get myself killed but the fire didn't comply.

Yep. I afk'd in southern barrens while watching some Pawn Stars on netflix for about 2 hours. Alt tabbed in at one point to reset my afk timer and was dead w/ the achieve.

And why is it not a feat of strength than? Or is it becoming one? Didnt they want all achievements that award points to be available and if that isnt the case why did they change point achieves into FoS at all in the past? IF they change it to a feat of strength why wasnt it one in the first place?

Also please provide a source. This is no rant post but serious interest because it seems i missed that when it was announced.
