Vanilla WoW was a diamond in the rough. Burning Crusade cleared the rough away and polished that diamond up. During Lich King, that diamond cracked from being over polished and in Cataclysm that diamond was replaced with a cubic zirconia.

I usually try to listen to the new wow music since its so magical now but then again you cant sing along to it, also afterwards you seem to end up attaching a song or a themed music to a zone. Just like when i was leveling a gnome through dun morogh i was listening to sweeney todd there for it seems when ever i go to that zone i remember the songs or vise versa.
BUT i do like to listen to songs but thats usually when im on a grind level or dungeons which i have already done or know well, since there is no special phasing or event .
As for actually music i listen to it would have to be a mixture of musicals + glee + sam tsui mix :P
