Another question about race changing

I was just wondering when does blizzard wipe your quest log when you purchase a race change, is it the moment it's bought off the website or is it after you're changed your race in-game.. Wondering because I don't want to have to waste time changing race at 12:00am, also don't want to lose the 25 dailies that are sitting in my log waiting to be handed in.

Can't you just wait until after you turn in the quests to race change? As far as I had heard from friends, it is wiped as soon as the race change is complete, correct me if I'm wrong :x

The wipe occurs when you use the service itself, not when you buy it.
