This season, MAYBE, if he keeps going the way he has the past 3-4 games.
Overall though? Brett has a good 140 more picks on Manning.
No way. He's not going to be playing as long as farve. Manning is sane, he will know when to call it quits.

I'll be the most deafening noise you've heard.
I'll be that ringing in your ears
That will stick around for years.
Manning'S <--- hint the s, both of them will break favres interception record
Looking at Eli, then yeah, he's looking pretty good to beat that record if he keeps up that impressive 20+ interceptions every year.
OPs post didn't have that S though, figured he was talking about Peyton with the past few games he's had.
Gosh, I have Manning on one of my FF teams and he's almost shit away 2 straight weeks. I don't think he'll break the record, he's too good to let that happen.
Before this turns into a lulfavrekingofinterceptions thread, someone has to point out his pass to int ratio is there with the other top QBs of ole'. He's played 20 seasons, threw a ton of passes, of course he'll have more ints than other QBs who only play half the number of games :P
That said, Manning is still a ridiculously good QB. 4000 passing yards in basically every season he's been in the league, with two "average" 3700 seasons, one of them being his rookie year. I'd love to have him on my team any day ;D
Peyton will be regarded as the top 3 QB's once he retires. Probably not 1st cause everyone has a hard-on for Joe Montana, but still...Dude has had 2 years where he's been "unproductive" and still holds a .500 rating.
His O-line is pretty shit too, as well as his RB's. Also, I think Cutler will break the INT record, one record already in that category, another 4 more years and hes got it.

I don't see how Manning is such a big deal. The patriots just destroyed 2 pretty good teams like 45-7 36-6 or something like that. I think as far as QB's go Brady is probably up there.
Also.. If being a QB goes downhill for manning atleast he's still the Oreo Licking Champion :P (I really wanted to make that joke! don't blame me!)
Peyton Manning is a great quarterback. Top 5 all time. Top 2 Currently.
Tom Brady is a great quarterback. Top 5 all time. Top 2 Currently.
You can debate Brady v. Manning all you want (I'll take Brady but I live 30 minutes from Foxboro and am a HUGE Pats fan, so I might be biased) but no matter how you slice it these two are hands down the 2 best in the NFL right now, and two of the greastest ever.
That being said, year to year one always outshines the other - this year is Brady's turn.
As for Farve - someone said "he only has the most interceptions since he played so long" and while that is correct, thats the only reason he has the most touchdowns too. Farve is legendary for his longevity. And while he is a historically great quarterback, Manning and Brady at their best are better than Farve was at his.
I just can't wait to watch Sportscenter without hearing his name for a couple days/weeks/months...
Brady has had a lot better talent running back wise/defensive wise over the years though. Not to mention his O-line has been pretty stable. Peyton has had the unfortunate over the years. This year his O-line stinks, and his running backs blow something else too...Don't forget his main target at TE is out, and shaky play from Garcon. Peyton can produce with no-name receivers and a horrible O-line; that alone is testament to his greatness.

The pats have a dangerous running attack if you focus purely on shutting our Brady(which doesn't happen 100% of the time either), so you can't do that or they'll put up points just the same. The colts don't have much of a running attack this year, so with Manning being the only real threat you can focus on him more.
