Jinx VS Mana Feed as desto @85

So Im gonna continue play desto at lvl 85.
But Im not sure if I should take Jinx or Mana Feed.

I like the feeling of never having to drink or tap.
Even without Mana Feed, the desto spec can run for long fights without the need to tap. (aslong as theres no AOE)

    What would you take?

If you are planning to raid you can take this suggestion:

    Mana Feed.

Looking at simcraft numbers for lvl 85 pre-raid geared profile these are the mana gains:

    Gains:
    19697.2 : blessing_of_might
    94929.0 : initial_mana
    107160.0 : life_tap
    182165.4 : mana_feed
    62043.0 : mp5_regen
    28674.2 : replenishment
    175146.3 : soul_leech

Mana Feed is the biggest contributor. This is a 300 second long fight and Destruction is now the most mana consuming spec ( has the lowest Damage per Mana ratio due to increased Incinerate mana cost ). In profile Warlock total health is 100464 hp. Life Tap gives 18 % of that as mana ( 120% of 15% of total health = 18% of total health ) = 18083,52 mp. If we divide mana gain from Life Tap of 107160 with this number we get an average of 5,926 Life Taps per 5 minute fight.
Mana Feeds saves 182165,4 / 18083,52 = an average of 10,074 Life Taps per 5 minutes, or 10 GCD ( global cooldown ).

EDIT: Just to add, the profile ends with 42k mana after 300 seconds. Any longer fight will increase the need for Life Tap. Also this profile doesn't use Shadowburn and thus looses out on Soul Leech gain from it.

Long fights without the need to tap? That time is over my friend, even for shorter fights.

    Mana feed.
success comes in the form of technical solutions to problems, not appeals to our emotional side

    Thank you very much!
I do plan to raid and I think I will go with Mana Feed now.
