Advice?

So I have a straight retri paladin, no other spec. Level 81. I have no really binding ties to it, such as a legendary weapon, or massive amounts of ingame friends. So I tried out prot. I like it and I want to play it. After 4.0 I hate ret. With the addition of holy power, I still feel detached from the game. So my question is, should I reroll my paladin, so I can learn the tips and tricks to tanking? I wouldnt mind doing it. I just dont like the insanely long dps ques in the LFG.

You sure can! A lot of the new quests have awesome gear for tanking. But before you decide to que up for a random cata or heroics at 85 I would suggest finding a talented healer and some patience dps to run a few with so you can get the feel of being a tank. That way you don't get into a group forget to put on RF, and lose threat to everything singlehandedly wiping your group.
