New to caster pvp/arena 1 q? :)

Hey!
So im a elemental shaman and will be focusing arena/pvp in s9 (i hope)
And my question is about spell penetration.
How much do i need? or do i even need it now when they made it easyer to remove buffs?
But since there is spell pen gems i guess its needed so any1 know a % or somthing u need in pvp?

Spell pen has been changed to provide a overall % damage reduction from spells, so in theory you'll need it to deal max damage. No idea how much though.

Didn't Resistance was changed to overall % damage reduction?

Spell Pen counters Resistance on a 1:1 basis.
If Resist Aura gives 200 Resistance, then it means you need 200 Spell Pen
