Blizzard default floating combat text

Hello, anyone knows how to make font size smaller on default combat text that appear over mobs heads when dealing dmg....and btw i dont wanna use any addons like SCT and etc...ty

I don't know the answer but I am also interested. Being able to resize, font change etc using the blizzard Combat Text.

I like to see the numbers over their head, not to the side. Makes it easier to know which mob got hit with the revenge cleave for threat etc

Addons cannot modify the Blizzard SCT.

These may or may not work since patch 4.0+/Cata. But it's worth a try. You may have to change their .toc files or load them as out-of-date addons though.

Afaik they only apply to outgoing damage/healing font changes. According to the author of one of the addons it is not possible to change the font for incoming damage/healing, that's why for consistency some use scrolling combat text addons instead (like Mik's Scrolling Battle Text).

Just check the "Load out of date Addons" box - changing a TOC file is something only the author should do.
