I have a question for this. Are the bosses suppossed to drop 100% or just a chance to drop? I tried Grand Magus Telestra on normal, but nothing was dropped? Or do i need the heroic version?

Normal was enough last year and it seemed 100%.
Was she wearing a hat? Like the actual model. If not try to reset and check again. Maybe it's a bug.

Did you folks read the text? It says December 25th till January 2nd. It's not December 25th yet.

Actually if you look at the source of the blue post, the "December 25th to January 2nd only" is just above the "Gift Giving" section (which is how it works every year) -- I think it got copied and pasted as part of the hat info by mistake (the pictures in the original page make the layout a bit confusing).

Reading the actual Blizzard post, it does seem as if the Dec 25-Jan 2 is for Gift-Giving only, as it mentions that stuff happens the morning of Dec 25. Also, the overall Winter's Veil is shown as starting:

Date: December 15th - January 2nd
Location: Most Major Cities

Anyway, I saw the hat drop from Godfrey today, so at least he is giving it.

Regarding Telestra, if I'm not mistaken, you can't get the hat from older dungeons unless your account is capped at that expansion. This was the case during Wrath with BC dungeons if I remember correctly.

Those two dropped it for me:
Blackrock Caverns (Normal + Heroic) - Corla, Herald of Twilight
Shadowfang Keep (Heroic) - Lord Godfrey

So it's 100% for me, however I may be lucky.

Dropped for me in Regular Blackrock Caverns this afternoon.

I've yet to see any of the hats drop off of the normal Northrend dungeons (though I haven't run Ahn'Kahet). Only on heroics. The blue's post is either wrong, there's a bug, or the drop rate in normals (in Northrend) is ridiculously low.
