Phoenix on US-Undermine is now recruiting!

We are actively seeking two additional DPS for our main raid group, preferably a DK or hunter, though we encourage everyone to apply! We are also in need of a few skilled players to fill out our second 10 man raid. As always, we are still accepting applications from skilled players that want to be a part of a strong guild for Cataclysm and beyond. Even if you just seek an active guild that will support you through heroics, questing and casual play, we have ranks for that as well!

What we require from you:

· Be able to raid at least 2 days/week.

· Have a website/forum account and utilize the forums.

· Come prepared to every raid with obvious consumables and tactics and be on time for our raids.

· Have an excellent knowledge of your class and be ready to read up while new patches are in the pipeline.

· Be respectful both to your guild mates and other people in this game, you represent not only yourself, but also the guild.

· We're not looking for drama queens; no general whine will be accepted.

· Be able to communicate on Mumble and be able to understand English.


What you can expect from us:

· A strong and stable raiding guild who aims for high goals in PvE.

· A fair ruled loot-council that relies on a random raid member as a tie breaker, and other measures to promote fairness.

· A friendly and helpful community with a lot of laughter on mumble both during raids and off days.

· 10 man runs, heroics, alt runs and achievement runs on off-days.


About Us:
Phoenix is a 10 man 'hardcore casual' raiding guild, comprised of hardcore raiders and pvp'ers alike. We were 11/12 HM ICC in Wrath, having completed that within three weeks of forming our guild. Most of us were part of progression teams during vanilla, BC and WOTLK. With Cataclysm here, we will be focusing on 10 man raids. Our members all have active lives and because of this, each raid group will raid 2 nights a week. Our current 10 man group raids on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 PM EST to 1 AM EST. The second groups schedule is TBD.

We describe our guild as ‘hardcore casual’ because all our members have busy lives with work, school, etc. So when we do have time to play, we aim to excel and operate in an elite fashion, like a 10 man strike team. We go in, learn content and clear it quickly. PvP is another goal as well and with Cataclysm we aim to have a steady rated battlegrounds group. Last but not least, we want to create a community with people socializing with each other, not just raiding. Therefore, there's almost always some alt run, PvP or PuG going on.

We expect our raiders to research fights and their class as patches are incoming and come to raids prepared with the proper gems, enchants and consumables, i.e. to be prepared. You must be open to constructive criticism and being called out in a raid if you are making mistakes. All of these things are common sense for experienced raiders. Our goal is to kill things, get loot and have a damn good time doing so.
