We are now throwing our doors open for Cataclysm applications - If you would like to be part of a completive Hard Mode Horde 25 man raiding guild in this expansion, now is the time to let us know. Without knowing what classes will be needed, we're interested in recruiting solid players of any class.
Excessum is primarily a 25 man hard mode raiding guild. However we also have a 10 man HM raiding team. We work as a mature, dedicated, and skilled team to complete all Hard Mode content the game has to offer as a guild. We strive to complete all content in a friendly and competitive way.
However we have several members with a variety of interests including BGs, arena, alt stuff, and achievement farming. Our membership is out going and active. Your sure to find something to do all the time!
Raid Schedule
* Tu/W/Th/Sun 7:30-11:30 EST
*We raid 3-4 nights a week in Cataclysm, raid weeks maybe extended or shortened as needed. However once content is on farm status, the raid week shortens.

Requirements
*Total dedication to the guild and raiding.
*General whining is not tolerated at all. If your main focus is loot or you can’t handle sitting out of raids sometimes, then this is not the right guild for you. Sometimes certain compositions will be better and you simply won’t get a spot. We expect you to play for the guild and its progress above all else.
*Complete knowledge of your class, how to gear and spec it. This means being able to adapt to new situations and goes beyond just reading theorycrafting and knowing what the right gems are.
*Top-notch raid performance goes without saying. This means you must be experienced in high-end raid content and able to play your class to perfection. People who repeatedly die to the same mistakes and perform sub-par compared to the rest of the guild will not last very long.
*Have a competitive nature both on a guild vs. guild level and an internal level. You will have to earn your raid spot and show that you are the best person for the job. You must be confident in what you are doing and want to show that you can do it better than anyone else.
*You must be able to take criticism and improve from it. You will make mistakes, everyone does. It's important that you will learn from them, not make them again and respect the criticism you take.
*You must have a working microphone and Ventrilo. We need you to be able to communicate when needed.
*Be over 18 years of age, there have been some exceptions to this, however these exceptions are rare.
What you get!
*A serious attitude on progression. This is obviously required of you as well. Proper preparation (tweaking a spec for a fight, all consumables, double potting, class/fight research) is expected.
*A number of raiders who enjoy theorycrafting, min/maxing, and strategy discussions. Analysis and commentary outside of simply the officer core is expected and appreciated, on our forums and during vent discussion of fights.
*A fun competitive environment in and outside of raids. Enjoy jokes and silly people on the lighter content! However we take all content seriously.
*Serious Hard Mode 25man progression. If your willing to put forth the effort, you will see all end game content on a competitive level!
