Soccer - What is Your Best first XI of all time

Obviously, there have been far too many great soccer players over the years to fit them all into one "best XI".
But if you could choose any player, from any time and make a starting XI, what would it look like?

Mine team would essentially play a 4-4-2 formation, with a defensive mid and a second striker.

My team would look something like this:
    Buffon
Dani Alves Maldini Stam Roberto Carlos

    Rijkaard

Lionel Messi Steven Gerrard Ryan Giggs

    Diego Maradonna

    Marco Van Basten

There were many many more players i wanted to include, such as Pele, Zidane, and Cryuff but i just couldnt fit em in.

So what would ur Best/Favourite XI of all time look like?

Maicon - Paolo Maldini - Lucio - Roberto Carlos
Lionel Messi - Lothar Matthäus - Zinedine Zindane - Ronaldinho
Marco van Basten - Diego Maradonna

reserves would contain Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Raul, Michel Platini, ...

I'll only use players that's been active in the 00s, its hard to compare and know everything about older players from different times:

    Keeper: Kahn
    Defenders: Maicon Lucio Vidic R.Carlos
    MFs: L.Messi Xavi Zidane W.Sneijder (/hate CR)
    Strikers: Z.Ibrahimovic Henry

Trainer: Can't choose between Mou, Pep, SAF and Hiddink.
Reserves: Robben, Iniesta, Schweinsteiger, Buffon, Lampard, Eto'o
Fans: AIK, Bröndby or Red Star (those clubs don't play in EL/CL often and aint well known cuz of that)

    Schmeichel
    Vidic, Maldini, R. Carlos, Nesta

OT: Some of these match ups would be interesting to see. I'm not a huge soccer fan, as it isn't shown much in the great state of hockey, but when it's on I'll tune in.

    EDIT:

The word "soccer" originated as an "Oxford '-er'" slang abbreviation of "association", and was popularized in the late nineteenth century by a prominent English footballer, Charles Wreford-Brown.[5] This origin is evident in the sometimes-heard variation, "soccer football".

SO you Europe "football" pride people can get over yourselves, ir was your people that started the term soccer.
well football was made before american football, so they stole our name! (THEY TOOK ER JOOBS)
much like rugby is actually called Rugby Football..
