Is there a pet with a more useful CC then this monkey? I tested the spell with Scatter shot and it doesnt share DR so you have 8 seconds cc just by Pet blind and scatter shot -> Dunno if it shares DR with Wyvernsting/Frost trap. If someone knows more about this or has a better pet for CC please do tell

No. There isn't any better control pet.

I have the monkey because its funny and stuff but I prefer the spider for PVP. Seems to work a little better at keeping someone off me long enough to disengage and/or trap. But if you are looking for CC for questing I use a cat (agil boost) and Misdirect to it. With the new glyph there is no CD for MD to pet. Send in pet and MD a multishot to it and you will be good to go. Our pets are designed to be a mini tank, additional Dps, and/or provide missing buff to a raid. We have much better CC than our pet especially at higher lvls. SV has the wyrven sting and all specs have the traps. Now we have ways to put them down and make them even more useful.
