This is a good question, I love sub for all the utility, but mutt has sooo much damage. I prob would go mutt, if I didn't spend all my gold on reforging, gemming, and enchanting for sub.

Think of it this way, sub you can reset multiple times in 1 fight, but your over all dmg wont be as high. Mutt you don't have much reset utility, but with all mastery, serve a decent burst, along with nice poison crits throughout the fight. Sub needs bleeds improved, it is very hard for me to not play mutt, after seeing what a mess blizzard made of it.

sub all the way. yes mut is nice dmge. but sub has so much mobility and utilities, imo sub is the most fun spec to play.
just got my new dagger (the epic conquest one) and my dmge increases by alot, im only at 10k ap tho. so yes our dmge isnt great, but with all the utilities and dance burst, its not something to laugh at.
imo play the spec you enjoy the most
