Mechano-hog.

Okay, me and my friend are experiencing some strange bug: the mechano-hog schematic has dissapeared from our profession skill window, but the WO quartermaster lists this item as 'Already Known'.

I've tried searching and didn't find any info on that.

Can anyone who has engi and known this schematic since WotLK check that now? I believe if everyone has this problem it should be made known to Blizzard, amirite?

Did you race/faction change? I've heard of other people having similar issues after race changing.

A GM would probably be your best bet, if they can ever get back to you.

Make sure you don't have any filters checked on and then contact a GM

Thanks guys. There's a comment on wowhead from an hour ago, stating that this bug is goblin-related.

By the way, goblins have a bug with the battered hilt questline too. :\

so is there any solution besides speak to a GM? i just race changed to a gob and just got my pattern and can't even use it!

Most race-specific items don't work on Goblin / Worgen.
My Worgen Rogue can buy the pattern but not learn it due to an error message - i made a ticket and the GM told me these issues would be corrected in the next PATCH, so probably 4.0.6

Yeah, my worgen hunter can't seem to learn the chopper recipe, it does the casting animation but mysteriously 'cancels' at the last moment.
