Archaeology: how long have you been farming for dwarf staff

My solves:

Dwarf: 317 (all except staff)
Troll: 143 (Got Zin'rokh)
NE: 53 (Got all + Trinket)
Tol'vir: 11 (Scarab)

It's such a frustrating grind, in part, because nobody on my server is selling Dwarf Rune stones

I was happy to see Zin'rokh at 143 solves, but it's not really any use to me being a Mage =[

The Dwarf staff will be my 20th Rare too; which will give me double the pleasure Professor and Staff at the same time.... someday...

I've just gotten the plans for the staff, was rehoping to get a chance on the sword after getting to 525 twice,
So i started on ek farming some but i had to do the northern parts 1st, dwarf finished it and bam got the staff plans ,
The Numbers on my 1st character are :

Dwarf:41
Fossil:40
Nightelf:18
tol'vir:4
troll 56
Vyrkul 3... also did a lot more archaeology on my alt ( leveled him with it ) and saved like 1,6k troll fragments and had 32 tablets, no rin'rokh but hey, ive got the staff for my shamy, and my future mage ^^

I'm gonna ask again:

Now that we can only stack up to 200, lets say if I have 400 fossils, would that mean that I won't have to dig them anymore? or I have to do it any way but I can't loot.

Can anyone clear that up?

Why exactly this matters?

You have 200 of "insert race" ?

You don't have 200 of "insert race"
>> Since you cant get past 200 doesn't make any sense of asking it, you have to solve them at cap anyway.

The latter. Just make a bunch of fossil artifacts and sell them off for the gold.

Just broke 300 troll artifacts last night and no Zin'rokh. On the way I've completed around 250 dwarf artifacts too and still haven't seen the staff either.

Night elf : 45 All rares at maby 40 (luck..)
Nerubian: 2 Nothing

Its the same here, 19 rares and still grinding for the staff. Im on 397 dwarf solves...its really annoying but i wont give up!...
