    Extremely bad graphic spikes

I decided I wanted to buy a higher resolution monitor for gaming instead of using my 32" TV. As soon as I plugged in the monitor I started up WoW and instantly got these crazy spikes, like the characters are stretched out, through the log in screen, leading into actual game. It seems the spikes only effect actual characters and NPCs, no buildings. My frame rate is perfectly fine, it's just constant spikes, everywhere. I've checked all of my connections, uninstalled and reinstalled my video card drivers, tried to use older versions, even reinstalled WoW entirely.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds to me like either Windows or WoW is set to the wrong resolution. Double check your desktop resolution and what resolution is set in-game.

My desktop, as well as WoW are both 1920x1080 resolution.

Set everything to defualt and then make sure vsync is on and go from there.

I've done that several times. Still, huge spikes everywhere.

sounds like a problem with the graphics card to me. At least that what it did for me when it was beginning to crap out. Is it an ATI card by chance?

    It's a MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 260.

and yeh, I'm starting to think so too. I just don't understand why it's only in WoW but every other game runs fine.
