[Pitbull] Warlock soul shards as bar; Limited function

Turns out there's a Pitbull addon literally called Soulshards Bar. Yep...

I'm having an issue with making the soul shard frame a 3-part bar on the player frame.

If I click the drop down under Indicators > Soul Shards > Position, I only have "1. Soul Shards" available. I feel like what I'm missing is the option to change this bar's position to something else so it shows like 3 bars.

To be clear, I'm trying to change it from showing pictures of shards to 3 solid bars indicating 1 shard per bar.
There is an example of this if you go to Ensidia's website, Manaflask dot com. Check out Darketsy's Cataclysm guide and go to the second page. In the comments there, he dropped a screenshot of his UI where he accomplished this.

What am I not getting?

NibPointDisplay is a standalone addon offering a similar appearance option also.
Can't actually find that soulshard bar you mention, where is it ?
