PC+EU. When considering a new computer for gaming, it never even crosses my mind to check out macs. I have a circle of friends who all use the same mac laptops and they are very nice to look at and use, but you wouldn't be able to run a game for any extended length of time on them. They are artsy peeps :P

Also building your own pc computer... it's way cheap. And if your PC breaks in some way you can get it fixed for a relatively low cost, rather than having to replace the entire machine.
    Secure accounts ftw!!

Mac OS X running on my custom PC hardware setup. MacBook Pro when I'm mobile, so I guess I can safely vote Mac.

I run WoW on a 13 inch Macbook Pro for sometimes six hours in a given day.

    Lock this thread already, seriously.

It seems the moderators themselves are so ridiculously biased here that they're unwilling to just close it.

I would not ever recommend an apple product to anyone, especially for desktops and workstations.
Fact of the matter is that their products are just a bad buy.
While home builds are getting you the best buy, not everyone is capable or knows someone that can do it for them.
After that though just buy some other windows machine. Feel free to install a Linux/Unix variant on it.
While apple did good on the mobile market for a while with their iphone, google has surpassed them.
There just isn't a single apple machine I can think of that is worth buying. (Others have already stated the numerous reasons for this)

I am open to change, I don't hate apple products for being apple. Maybe in the future there will be an apple product worth purchasing.

You've proven nothing but your own ignorance by refusing to address anything I've said whatsoever, because the reality is that you can't. You actually have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and your inferiority complex on this subject is hilarious and amusing. You've spent tons of time crafting cute little rants, but then try to argue that you don't have time to argue with me when you could have easily spent that time proving me wrong if I was actually so very wrong.

The truth here us that you know nothing about audio production, and you really know nothing about Macs in general, and you are either incapable or unwilling to address anything anyone says, because you think blowing hot air out of your ass is a grand achievement that is impressing people. It isn't.

Yes, me hating Steve Jobs because he's a prick and having a very reasonable debate with a Mac user obviously qualifies for ridiculous bias. However, an encyclopedia dramatica link with advertisements for porn and pictures of people eating human feces isn't exactly what I'd call debate, so I think I'm going to lock this while enjoying my good morning coffee.

    Cheers!

Ninespine -- I read your post, can't say there's a whole lot more to debate. You're happy with what you have, happier than what PC could do for you and I'm not exactly out to change your mind on that. I'm quite glad I was able to have that debate with you, as I honestly could not find a mac user capable of doing so beforehand.
