Most Over-Rated Addon?

You hear about an addon from friends.
You hear about it from guildmates.
You read about it on forums.
You find an addon online that has 100 000+ hits.
You download the addon, log on to World of Warcraft, and test the addon.

You expect it to blow you away, and instead, it just plain blows.

What popular addon(s) have you downloaded that have just been disappointing.

For me, it would have to be Grid, IceHUD, and Archy.

Edit: Based off the first couple replies to this thread, you must now pick addons other than Gearscore. It's an obvious choice, there are already plenty of threads about it. I'm looking for people's opinions on popular addons that haven't been crushed beneath player's hate.

InventoryOnPar, a precursor to Gearscore.
It had novelty at first, seeing how I "ranked" compared to others.
Then I had what was my sub-par "score" announced in guild chat by the current GM of a guild while I was still levelling.
I lost all interest in it there and then, and my interest in guilds too.

QuestHelper, even before the in-game one. For the few quests where it was actually hard to find where to go, I'd use Lightheaded.

I'd say Atlas Loot, Fubar, or Xperl. I don't use any of these and get along fine.

I remember everyone saying healbot is required as a healer. I was a holy paladin from June 2006 until the release of Cataclysm when I spec swapped. People always said I was a good healer, and never did I once use any healing addon. It's not really necessary, just makes something that's easy, easier*.

Same. I always thought I was pretty good at healing, didn't really see the point in using healbot or any of those type of addons.

OT: I think DBM is becoming pretty overrated. Most bosses do some ridiculous emote for when they're about to drop their giant ass ability.

Yea, I actually quit using DBM, finding the new emotes sufficient. Along with the fact that is it was erroring out alot. Besides the fact, think, youre in a hard boss fight, stuff spawns under your feet! You have this add on, not telling you calmly GTFO, but BLONKing and making other OMFG alarm noises that actually take away from you visually watching the game. Your not waiting for that boss move to happen youre just waiting for "RUN AWAY LITTLE GIRL!!!!"
